there wasnt much point in writing an empty file with comments anyway.
linux-2.6 images should now be piuparts clean on most archs.
this is a tamed down version of the orginal proposal to get
it rid everywhere:

Remove a whole load of patches accepted into this release.
Replace the ALPS 4-directional button patch with a minimal version
that applies on top of 2.6.32.7.
Fix conflict between 2.6.32.7 and vserver in kernel/sched.c by moving
a declaration.
