This patch adds CONFIG_SPL_NAND_DEVICE_WIDTH to specify bus-width of NAND device
CONFIG_SPL_NAND_DEVICE_WIDTH == 16: NAND device with x16 bus-width
CONFIG_SPL_NAND_DEVICE_WIDTH == 8: NAND device with x8 bus-width
Need for a separate CONFIG_xx arise from following situations.
(1) SPL NAND drivers does not have framework to parse ONFI parameter page.
(2) if !defined(CONFIG_SYS_NAND_SELF_INIT)
|- board_nand_init()
|- nand_scan()
|- nand_scan_ident()
|- nand_scan_tail()
This means board_nand_init() is called before nand_scan_ident(). So NAND
controller is initialized before the actual probing of NAND device.
However some controller (like GPMC) need to be specifically configured for
bus-width of NAND device.
In such cases, bus-width of the NAND device should be known in advance
of actual device probing. Hence, CONFIG_SPL_NAND_DEVICE_WIDTH is useful.
(3) Non-ONFI compliant devices need some mechanism to specify device bus-width
to driver.

OMAP NAND driver can detect Page-size and OOB-size of NAND device from ONFI
params or nand_id[] table. And based on that it defines ECC layout.
This patch
1) removes following board configs used for defining NAND ECC layout
- GPMC_NAND_ECC_LP_x16_LAYOUT (for large page x16 NAND)
- GPMC_NAND_ECC_LP_x8_LAYOUT (for large page x8 NAND)
- GPMC_NAND_ECC_SP_x16_LAYOUT (for small page x16 NAND)
- GPMC_NAND_ECC_SP_x8_LAYOUT (for small page x8 NAND)
2) removes unused #defines in common omap_gpmc.h depending on above configs
Build tested using: ./MAKEALL -s am33xx -s omap3 -s omap4 -s omap5

Remove any notion of CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTI from board config files.
Since CONFIG_SERIAL_MULTI is now enabled by default, it is useless
to specify this config option in the board config files. Therefore
remove it.

Remove the prototypes for zoom2_serial_deviceN from serial.h . This
can't be done right away, as they are referenced from the zoom2
config file. Therefore, adjust the code so the config file only
specifies number of the port. Then, replace the simple return in
default_serial_console() with a switch across possible values, which
returns the zoom2_serial_deviceN . With such adjustment in place,
the exported prototypes in serial.h can be safely removed.

CONFIG_STACKSIZE is not referenced anywhere except on AVR32, but present
in most ARM board config files.
IRQs are only enabled for 1 config, so remove the unused config options
for IRQ and FIQ stack size as well.

Increase the console I/O buffer size (SYS_CBSIZE) to 512 (from 256)
required especially for bootargs string, as multiple options
(e.g Video settings) are passed to the kernel through bootargs.

CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE has always been just a bad workarond for not
being able to use "sizeof(struct global_data)" in assembler files.
Recent experience has shown that manual synchronization is not
reliable enough. This patch renames CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE into
GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE which gets automatically generated by the
asm-offsets tool. In the result, all definitions of this value can be
deleted from the board config files. We have to make sure that all
files that reference such data include the new <asm-offsets.h> file.
No other changes have been done yet, but it is obvious that similar
changes / simplifications can be done for other, related macro
definitions as well.

The purpose of this patch is to prepare for adding the OMAP4 architecture, which is Cortex A9
Cortex A8 and A9 both belong to the armv7 architecture, hence the name change.
The two architectures are similar enough that substantial code can be shared.

function (mem_init), this generalization of omap memory setup
is necessary to support the new emif4 interface introduced in AM3517.

The preferred serial output comes from the debug board.
When the debug board is disconnected, fall back on using
usbtty from the usb connector on the Zoom2 board.
This shows up as /dev/ttyACM0 in a linux host.

There is more and more usage of printing 64bit values,
so enable this feature generally, and delete the
CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_VSPRINTF and CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_STRTOUL
defines.

This changes fixes an early i2c error.
It appears that I2C is working because once a read or write
error is detected, the omap24xx_i2c driver calls i2c_init
inside its error handling check.
While it is ok to attempt error handling this way, the boards
must not depend on this side effect to initialize it's i2c.
Instead of explicitly calling i2c_init for every board, use
the generic arm initialization in lib_arm/board.c. By defining
the config variable CONFIG_HARD_I2C, the omap3 i2c initialization
is included in the init_sequence table.
Run tested on Beagle.

Because twl4030 now has its own device files, move exiting
omap3 power_init_r to a new location.
power_init_r is the only function in board/omap3/common.
It initializes the twl4030 power for the board and enables
the led.
The power part of the the function is moved to twl4030_power_init in
drivers/power/twl4030.c The power compilation is conditional on the
existing config variable CONFIG_TWL4030_POWER.
The led part is moved to twl4030_led_init in the new file
drivers/misc/twl4030_led.c The led compilation is conditional on
the new config variable CONFIG_TWL4030_LED
The directory board/omap3/common was removed because power_init_r
was the only function in it.

The Zoom2 power reset button is on the top right side of the
main board. Press and hold for about to 8 seconds to completely
reset the board.
Some of the beta boards have a hardware problem that prevents
using this feature. If is difficult to further characterize the
boards that fail. So disable resetting for all beta boards.
The Zoom1 reset button is the red circle on the top right,
front of the board. Press and hold the button for 8 seconds to
completely reset the board.
After analyzing beagle, it was determined that other boards
that use the twl4030 for power managment can also make use
this function.
The resetting is done by the power management part of the twl4030.
Since there is no existing drivers/power, add one.
The compilation of power/twl4030.h is controlled by the config
variable CONFIG_TWL4030_POWER

Commit 8d2effea added a warning for configurations that use NAND
without defining the (then necessary) CONFIG_SYS_64BIT_VSPRINTF but
failed to fix the affected boards.
This patch covers the non-PPC boards that were missed in the previous
patch (commit 170c1972).

Zoom2 serial is in general supplied by one of the 4 UARTS on the debug board.
The default serial is from the USB connector on left side of the debug board.
The USB connector will produce 2 of the 4 UARTS. On your host pick the first
enumeration.
The details of the setting of the serial gpmc setup are not available.
The values were provided by another party.
The serial port set up is the same with Zoom1.
Baud rate 115200, 8 bit data, no parity, 1 stop bit, no flow.
The kernel bootargs are
console=ttyS3,115200n8
