During tests, some creation of user records would unnecessarily trigger
password reset or set a password, both of which would trigger password
hashing which takes some time (for good reasons).
Fix by:
* passing no_reset_password in YAML tests and some Python tests still
missing it (a number of Python tests already used it)
* removing passwords from YAML records as they're never necessary, the
test user records are not expected to ever log in
As of version 8.0, search_count method has been implemented
Usage in this place is not needed though,
as we just need to know if there are messages in domain,
not the exact number of them.
Due to that we replace method search_count with search and add a limit of 1,
which provides better performances.

Some tests (e.g. mail) have expensive and significant DB setup for a
number of small and cheap tests. Using a TransactionCase, the DB setup
far dominates the tests themselves, by up to 10x (mail unit tests take
~130s on my machine, the tests themselves take ~15s).
The SavepointCase introduced here is an hybrid of SingleTransactionCase
and TransactionCase: it uses a single transaction for all tests in a
class, but each test case is isolated by a rollbacked savepoint. This
allows a common DB setup (via setUpClass) while keeping independent
tests.
TransactionCase should remain the primary test case superclass, but
SavepointCase can be a fair optimisation when setup costs far dominate.
For emails sent via Office 365, reply-to header could contains additional spaces
or get multiline header.
e.g.:
In-Reply-To:
<4ba8f246904b4fedb49fbab7945a7f82@AM3PR06MB433.eurprd06.prod.outl$$k.com>
The message lookup fails if header is not stripped
If the chatter is displayed, display the send message part.
Before it was only displayed if we can edit the record, but we are still
able to post in other case (i.e. if we are in the followers).

sometimes some blank spaces are lost in subject of some incoming messages
There is a bug in `decode_header` in Python < 3.3,
which leads to lost some spaces in the email subjects
when several encodings are used in this subject.
See
- Issue: http://bugs.python.org/issue1079
- Fix: https://hg.python.org/cpython/rev/8c03fe231877
Joining the strings returned in the result of `decode_header`
solves most cases. Only extreme cases, like having
a subject with several different encodings following
each other without white spaces between them could lead
to have extra spaces in the subject. It won't happen
most of the time.
Closes#6629
The outgoing server of a mail template is not used when sending a mail.
This fix propagates the mail server the same way it's done for auto_delete.
opw-633005
Access rights on messages are derived from the
access rights on the documents they are attached
to. Due to the karma-based nature of the forum
access rights, these do not automatically reflect
on messages, because they are not implemented as
access rules.
The check_mail_message_access() needs to be
overriden to achieve the same effect.
+ allow calling super().check_mail_message_access()
from new API (useful in forward-port)
Previously, when updating subscribers of a mail.thread, the default_{key}
arguments could override a {key} in the values.
e.g: for an new opportunity, the salesperson was overrided by the default user_id
This fix gives the priority to the values over the default_ in context.
opw-631741
When an mail alias for catchall domain was assigned, some checks were not done
and a empty list help was wrongly displayed. Thus two arrays and some inconsistent
messages were displayed.
This commit correct this behavior so only one arrow is displayed.
Another part of the issue, was an erroneous propagation of context which should
be solved by a futur commit.

When writing a message via the chatter with a template being in auto_delete
False, the notifications emails are always in auto_delete True.
This fix propagate the auto_delete option of a mail.template to these
notifications emails.
opw-630010
When auto subscribing to a message
(For instance, change the ```user_id``` field on a record,
like an invoice)
The new user is notified of the last message of the thread.
He must be notified of the parent message as well,
to have access to the first message of the thread,
to prevent access rights issues to the thread.
This mechanism is applied in the _notify method
of model ```mail.message``` as well, for the same reasons.

a6eac0f08e introduced a new `res.groups`
belonging to the "Sharing" category.
As this group has the flag `shared`, it is ignore when generating the
group's user view (and its virtual fields).
When updating `mail` module, the `share` module (which depend on mail)
is not loaded yet. This mean this new group is taken into account when
getting the `res.users` virtual fields.
As this group belong to the same category as the `share.group_share_user`
group but dont have an inheritance link between them (`implied_ids`),
they are generated as `boolean` instead of a single entry `selection`
field. This create a missmatch between the fields and the previously
generated view, which forbid inheritance application.
Force view regeneration, to avoid it.
Also change the group's category as this group is purely technical and
must be hidden anyway.
When a message had no author (this is accepted),
a recipient without full_name, name and email address
was added to the suggested recipients of the thread,
leading to a "(no email address)" within the suggested recipients,
which is not really useful.
opw-629797
The previous matching rules were too fuzzy and allowed random
prefix-match or tail-match of other user's emails.
For example when looking up a partner matching 'foo@bar.com'
the system would sometimes find 'dom.foo@bar.com' instead,
or 'foo@bar.com.tw'.
Fixed by only allowing direct case-insensitive email match
of an addr-spec, or substring match of the addr-spec enclosed
in angle brackets, within a name-addr pair.
See also RFC5322, section 3.4
Also adapted related message_find_partner_from_emails() method
to factor out the partner email resolution mechanism to avoid
the same problem.
Adds corresponding regression test.
If click show more in a flat thread (level 0, such as under leads, issues, etc.) append messages from newer to older
If click show more in an indented thread (level > 0, such as in the messaging wall), append messages from older to newer
Catch only the error related to the access of the linked record.
Previous was hidding error to access the ir.config_parameter and eventual other
errors from the orm.
Uses SUPERUSER_ID to access instance URL (e.g. portal has no access to it).

To allow customization, such as do not send the notification to the partner that subscribed himself to the thread (he probably already read the thread, no need to send him an email)

The old-api model._all_columns contains information about model._columns and
inherited columns. This dictionary is missing new-api computed non-stored
fields, and the new field objects provide a more readable api...
This commit contains the following changes:
- adapt several methods of BaseModel to use fields instead of columns and
_all_columns
- copy all semantic-free attributes of related fields from their source
- add attribute 'group_operator' on integer and float fields
- base, base_action_rule, crm, edi, hr, mail, mass_mailing, pad,
payment_acquirer, share, website, website_crm, website_mail: simply use
_fields instead of _all_columns
- base, decimal_precision, website: adapt qweb rendering methods to use fields
instead of columns
And fallback of any type if there is none of type email
This fix allow the communication between two mail thread from two different Odoo servers having message creation subtypes, like project issue or crm lead
