Albert ARIBAUD 3da0e5750b arm: factorize relocate_code routine
Replace all relocate_code routines from ARM start.S files
with a single instance in file arch/arm/lib/relocate.S.
For PXA, this requires moving the dcache unlocking code
from within relocate_code into c_runtime_cpu_setup.

Tetsuyuki Kobayashi 4411b2aea7 BUGFIX: arm: data abort in get_bad_stack_swi
When swi instruction is executed, it is expected to get message
"software interrupt" in console and dump registers and reboot, as
do_software_interrupt() in arch/arm/lib/interrupts.c.
But, actually it causes data abort accessing wrong address in get_bad_stack_swi
macro in arch/arm/cpu/v7/start.S.
This patch fixes this problem.

The same mistake in arch/arm/cpu/{arm1136,arm1176,pxa}/start.S.

Benoît Thébaudeau 9ce8e2386c arm1176: Remove unused MMU setup from start.S
Following the removal of the smdk6400 board, the MMU setup code in
arm1176/start.S becomes unused, so remove it. It will still be possible to
restore it later from the Git history if necessary, in which case it should be
moved out of the relocate_code() function.

Benoît Thébaudeau 7086e91b0e arm: relocate_code(): Use __image_copy_end for end of relocation
Use __image_copy_end instead of __bss_start for the end of the image to
relocate. This is the same as commit 033ca72, but applied to all ARM start.S.

This is a more appropriate symbol naming for an image copy & relocate feature,
and this also saves a useless copy of data put between __image_copy_end and
__bss_start in linker scripts (e.g. relocation information, or MMU
initialization tables used only before jumping to the relocated image).

Simon Glass 3929fb0a14 Replace __bss_end__ with __bss_end
Note this is a tree-wide change affecting multiple architectures.

At present we use __bss_start, but mostly __bss_end__. This seems
inconsistent and in a number of places __bss_end is used instead.

Change to use __bss_end for the BSS end symbol throughout U-Boot. This
makes it possible to use the asm-generic/sections.h file on all
archs.

Albert ARIBAUD e05e5de7fa arm: move C runtime setup code in crt0.S
Move all the C runtime setup code from every start.S
in arch/arm into arch/arm/lib/crt0.S. This covers
the code sequence from setting up the initial stack
to calling into board_init_r().

Also, rewrite the C runtime setup and make functions
board_init_*() and relocate_code() behave according to
normal C semantics (no jumping across the C stack any
more, etc).

Some SPL targets had to be touched because they use
start.S explicitly or for some reason; the relevant
maintainers and custodians are cc:ed.

Wolfgang Denk e03f316974 Drop support for CONFIG_SKIP_RELOCATE_UBOOT
For ARM systems, before ELF relocation was introduced,
CONFIG_SKIP_RELOCATE_UBOOT coul be used to prevent *COPYING* the
U-Boot image from whereever it was loaded to it's link address
(CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE). The name was badly chosen, as no relocation
was performed at all, it was just a memcpy().

With ELF relocation, this does not work like that any more, and
related boards need to be fixed anyway. So don't keep this relict any
longer.

Wolfgang Denk a9aa392629 Drop support for CONFIG_SYS_ARM_WITHOUT_RELOC
When this define was introduced, the idea was to provide a soft
migration path for ARM boards to get adapted to the new relocation
support. However, other recent changes led to a different
implementation (ELF relocation), where this no longer works. By now
CONFIG_SYS_ARM_WITHOUT_RELOC does not only not help any more, but it
actually hurts because it obfuscates the actual code by sprinkling it
with lots of dead and non-working debris.

So let's make a clean cut and drop CONFIG_SYS_ARM_WITHOUT_RELOC.

Wolfgang Denk 25ddd1fb0a Replace CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE by auto-generated value
CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE has always been just a bad workarond for not
being able to use "sizeof(struct global_data)" in assembler files.
Recent experience has shown that manual synchronization is not
reliable enough. This patch renames CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE into
GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE which gets automatically generated by the
asm-offsets tool. In the result, all definitions of this value can be
deleted from the board config files. We have to make sure that all
files that reference such data include the new <asm-offsets.h> file.

No other changes have been done yet, but it is obvious that similar
changes / simplifications can be done for other, related macro
definitions as well.

Vitaly Kuzmichev 1a27f7d9c2 ARM: Align stack to 8 bytes
The ARM ABI requires that the stack be aligned to 8 bytes as it is noted
in Procedure Call Standard for the ARM Architecture:
http://infocenter.arm.com/help/topic/com.arm.doc.ihi0042d/index.html

Unaligned SP also causes the problem with variable-length arrays
allocation when VLA address becomes less than stack pointer during
aligning of this address, so the next 'push' in the stack overwrites
first 4 bytes of VLA.

Cyril Chemparathy 678e008c3a ARM1176: Coexist with other ARM1176 platforms
The current ARM1176 CPU specific code is too specific to the SMDK6400
architecture. The following changes were necessary prerequisites for the
addition of other SoCs based on ARM1176.

Existing board's (SMDK6400) configuration has been modified to keep behavior
unchanged despite these changes.

1. Peripheral port remap configurability
The earlier code had hardcoded remap values specific to s3c64xx in start.S.
This change makes the peripheral port remap addresses and sizes configurable.

2. U-Boot code relocation support
Most architectures allow u-boot code to run initially at a different
address (possibly in NOR) and then get relocated to its final resting place
in RAM. Added support for this capability in ARM1176 architecture.

3. Disable TCM if necessary
If a ROM based bootloader happened to have initialized TCM, we disable it here
to keep things sane.

4. Remove unnecessary SoC specific includes
ARM1176 code does not really need this SoC specific include. The presence
of this include prevents builds on other ARM1176 archs.

5. Modified virt-to-phys conversion during MMU disable
The original MMU disable code masks out too many bits from the load address
when it tries to figure out the physical address of the jump target label.
Consequently, it ends up branching to the wrong address after disabling the
MMU.
