The figure that shows the bare clone and the copy of the bare clone are no longer needed. The description for the kernel workflow has been reduced to discussing only modification of the temporary source files. We are no longer talking about creating a bare clone and copying it as a way to modify the kernel in this manual. That topic will be described elsewhere.
