delete them. If you do delete a file, you will need to run:

bitbake -c clean TARGET
|
|
bitbake TARGET
|
|
|
|
where TARGET is the name of the appropriate package or target e.g.
|
|
"virtual/kernel" for the kernel, an image, etc.
