Subject: rt: Improve the serial console PASS_LIMIT
From: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu>
Date: Wed Dec 14 13:05:54 CET 2011
2019-02-27 18:51:46 +00:00
Origin: https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/rt/4.19/older/patches-4.19.25-rt16.tar.xz
Beyond the warning:
drivers/tty/serial/8250/8250.c:1613:6: warning: unused variable pass_counter [-Wunused-variable]
the solution of just looping infinitely was ugly - up it to 1 million to
give it a chance to continue in some really ugly situation.
